Our Story

At Otternative Apparel we are a husband-and-wife team with two big loves: otters and service. When we dreamed of starting a business together, we knew it had to be something that blended both. 

Otters have always inspired us — especially the way they hold hands while they sleep, so they never drift apart (adorable, right?). That simple act of connection became the heart of our brand. Just like otters, we believe in staying close, lifting each other up, and spreading kindness wherever we can.

That’s why we created Otternative Apparel. Every design we make is stitched with the idea of bringing people together — whether it’s family, friends, or a community who believes in compassion and creativity.

When you wear Otternative Apparel, you’re not just putting on a shirt. You’re joining a raft — the word for a group of otters — and becoming part of a family that values connection, care, and kindness.

Looking forward, we hope to grow our brand into something that will be unique, high-quality, and affordable. With many new and fun products on the horizon. But most importantly we aim to make a brand that brings together a world that is drifting apart.
